The 13th International Festival of Youth CreativityFOLK INSPIRATIONS is an event that has become part of the festival landscape of Łódź and in 2023 it will be a space for young amateur artists and mature professional artists from culturally diverse countries of the world.
The festival is a place for artistic groups and individual participants who are inspired by folklore, folk culture, national traditions and ethnic customs. The artists with the inhabitants of Łódź and guests visiting the city will be present in concert halls, theatres, open-air spaces, backyards and streets so as to create culturally diverse dance, vocal, music and theatre presentations as well as fine arts exhibitions, art installations and fashion shows.
The main activity of the 13th edition of the festival will be the production of a film reportage in various spaces of the revitalized Łódź. This is how we will celebrate the 600th anniversary of Łódź.
The stages, streets, squares, backyards and passages of Łódź will resound with traditional rhythms and melodies from 13 countries of the world in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.
