The opening of the 15th edition of Folk Inspirations will be truly spectacular! A colorful and energetic parade will march down Piotrkowska Street in Łódź, led by the one and only band of its kind in Poland – Częstochowa Pipes&Drums, who have already led our folk parade more than once.
Their powerful Scottish bagpipes and rhythmic drums will transport us to the atmosphere of Celtic hills and ancient battle marches. Dressed in traditional military uniforms, the musicians will deliver a performance full of elegance and precision that we won’t soon forget. These are sounds known from churches, ceremonies, and historic moments – and this time, they will echo across the cobblestones of Łódź.
The band, which has represented Poland on stages in many countries, will bring their full Scottish spirit to our city.
