At 11:00 a.m. at the Museum of the Factory, we opened the jubilee exhibition of memorabilia, photographs and the artistic installation 15 YEARS – THOUSANDS OF FOLK HEARTS. The jubilee exhibition consists of many elements. Among them are mementos from festival participants from around the world, statuettes awarded in the GOLDEN BOAT competition, posters and playbills, and chronicles documenting subsequent editions of the event, as well as a large-format collage of photos of festival participants.
An interesting part of the exhibition is the installation PULS FOLKLORE consisting of 12 chairs. The works were made by first-year students of the Non-Public Fine Arts High School of Innovative Education in Łódź. In the design basics studio, led by Marzena Mirewicz-Czumaczenko, the task of rhythmic composition in a spatial object was carried out. In the form and colors of the works of young artists, one can find references to native folk art, Slavic mythology and the art of world cultures.
The exhibition is open until 28.06.2025.
