This year, as we celebrate the 15th anniversary of Folk Inspirations, we’re happy to welcome back our longtime friend and regular festival guest – the National Folklore Group “NAMYSTO”. The group is based in Gorodok, in the Rivne region of Ukraine. Highly esteemed in the artistic community, “NAMYSTO” has been preserving and promoting Ukrainian folk culture for many years. It is led by Tatiana Vaseczko – a distinguished cultural figure of Ukraine, a passionate artist with extensive experience.
“NAMYSTO” is much more than a vocal group – it is a true guardian of the Ukrainian spirit. Each of their performances reflects a deep connection to traditional customs, rituals, and folk symbolism. Their artistic programs are carefully directed vocal spectacles, captivating with the richness of their costumes, attention to detail, and emotional depth.
The ensemble’s performances are vibrant with folkloric colors, melodies, and gestures, transporting audiences into the world of Ukrainian village life, ancient customs, and festive rituals.
