At the end of the first day of Folk Inspirations, we invited the city’s residents to a unique artistic event. In the evening, the IMPRO Off Piotrkowska Comedy Theater hosted the performance “FAR AND CLOSE” - sounds from different parts of the world”. This is an extraordinary meeting with song, music and words performed by the festival participants. The artists took the audience on a journey through sounds and stories inspired by the cultures of different nations, combining tradition with modern theatrical form. The performance was full of emotions, energy and unusual musical connections.
The following performed: the Academic Ensemble of Slavic Nations BAŁAŁAJKI from Łódź, the Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble ZHORZHYNY from Ukraine and the CANTA MACONDO Ensemble from Colombia.
