The Artistic Group “Krajki”

The Artistic Group “Krajki” has always been – and still is – a true symbol of our institution, which is why it simply couldn’t be missing from the festival. Founded in 1975 at the Julian Tuwim Youth Palace in Łódź and once affiliated with the Polish Scouting Association (ZHP), the group has evolved and transformed over the years, but one thing has remained unchanged – the passion, energy, and joy of creation that radiate from every choreography and every sound.

Today, KRAJKI consists of over 110 young artists aged 5 to 18 from Łódź and the surrounding region, who train in singing, dance, and movement, creating vibrant and diverse performances.

Behind the ensemble’s success stand years of dedicated work by teachers, instructors, and the youth themselves – the result of their shared commitment is a long list of prestigious awards in Poland and abroad, recorded albums, concerts, music videos, and touching solo performances.

Now under the professional artistic direction of Żanetta Walkus, KRAJKI not only nurture tradition but also boldly explore new forms of expression while remaining true to their identity.

Come and see how young voices and dance can truly move the heart – because with KRAJKI, every stage becomes a living story!
