A special guest from across the ocean, straight from the heart of Latin America – UPAEP Folkloric Company from Puebla, Mexico is joining us at the Festival! It is a semi-professional dance group affiliated with the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP).
It is made up of talented students who, through intensive choreographic training, explore and share the rich cultural heritage of Mexico – both within the Puebla region and across the country and the world.
Their performances are a vibrant journey through tradition, featuring dances from Veracruz, Guadalajara, Nayarit, Tamaulipas, Puebla, as well as Aztec dances and other expressive forms, all enhanced by high-quality music and breathtaking costumes.
